Walter Dean Myers, beloved author wrote over 100 children’s books, including picture books, young adult novels, poetry, and non-fiction. His literary work has been recognized nationally, winning two Newbery Honors, six Coretta Scott King Awards/Honors, and numerous other prestigious awards.
